Sochel Corvidae

ACCREDITED GONSALVES METHOD TEACHER

Sochel delivers Gonsalves Method workshops for 'Communication and Relationship Building' with local government, and aims to improve connection in both creative and corporate spaces, especially for frontline services relating directly with the public. She worked as an actor and drama teacher before moving into crisis response and international development overseas. She now explores mental health awareness in research expeditions and writing.

Dan Cox

ACCREDITED GONSALVES METHOD TEACHER

Dan is a director, facilitator and actor who currently works at MAST Mayflower Studios in Southampton, in the community department. He met Aileen while studying at Arts University Bournemouth and has never stopped seeing clearly.

Kay Crook

ACCREDITED GONSALVES METHOD TEACHER

Kay Crook is a dancer, choreographer, teacher, movement director and Artistic Director of Chhaya Collective, a female-led contemporary dance company and Chhaya Youth Dance Company.

Peter Domankiewicz

ACCREDITED GONSALVES METHOD TEACHER

Peter is a film and television director, with acting experience. His particular focus with the Gonsalves Method is applying it to screen acting. Peter train both actors and directors in achieving authentic performances, and self-tapes that get attention.

Laura Douglas

ACCREDITED GONSALVES METHOD TEACHER

Laura is an actor, director, writer and creative facilitator based in Northern Ireland. She first met Aileen when she trained at ArtsEd in 2012, and she has been implementing the Gonsalves Method since. Laura has a particular interest in performance coaching, working with actors and directors to help elicit an authentic, connected performance. She is also extremely passionate about creative wellbeing, and runs workshops and classes related to this, as well as designing products that support this.

Alex Gray

Alex Gray is an actor and tutor who merges the worlds of art and digital technology with a particular emphasis on virtual reality and digital creativity. His approach brings a creative flair to the realm of immersive experiences, thoughtfully intertwining the narrative depth of acting with the interactive potential of modern technology. Dedicated to both his craft and imparting his knowledge, Alex stands at the intersection of artistic expression and digital innovation.

Sophie Key

ACCREDITED GONSALVES METHOD TEACHER

Sophie trained at the Orange Tree Theatre in Richmond and now runs her own theatre company, Key Players, based in Surrey. She has worked with Aileen on and off for over 20 years.

Wictor Koch

ACCREDITED GONSALVES METHOD TEACHER

Director, actor, musical theatre performer, and voice actor. Originally from Sweden, Wictor employ the Gonsalves Method back home to coach actors and directors in enhancing their communication in rehearsals and on set. With the Gonsalves Method influencing every step, Wictor adapted and directed a multilingual version of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night's Dream, with a total of 10 languages.

Sarah April Lamb is a theatre maker, movement director and teacher working across theatre, dance, performance art and circus. Her work is infused with the exploration of human connection and tenderness in unlikely places.

Sophie Rickman

Sophie is an actor and teacher based in Surrey with 20+ years experience acting and teaching. As one of the original members of Butterfly Theatre Company, Sophie has been privileged to work closely with Aileen as her Gonsalves Method has been developed to where it is today.

Diarm Scahill

Diarm is a highly skilled singing teacher and dedicated voice coach with a passion for authentic expression. He has successfully weaved the Gonsalves method into his voice coaching to help performers unlock the full range and potential of their voices. He helps actors and singers gain the ability to genuinely connect with their audience, creating powerful and memorable experiences through the magic of storytelling, voice and song.
